Just saw the end of Nirrti in last nights episode and who else thinks that the bit where she dies looks a lot like when Vader strangles people in Star Wars? Or have I been playing too much JK 2?

I think you should be a bit more specific in your thread topics as to what episode you're refering to, since the UK is about 5 weeks ahead of the US right now... ;)

Spoiler warnings in Subject lines would be good too! ;)
You're 100% right though. I was thinking about Force powers whenever I saw that guy do something ;)

I haven't seen it, but I think it's the secret wish of every person to have those kind of powers. Those invisible "I-can-move-it" powers...
ok, at least I would like to have them :)
Everybody is talking about that, we haven't even seen the first episode of season 6 yet. I know, I'm saying that all the time, but here's what I feel : "GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR stupid TV channels"
Phish, when I read your topic title I thought about stargates fighting each other... hmmm... !? :P

I thought the way he wafted his hand around was a bit theatrical, but then I suppose he'd have to do that so we know why things are just flying around. IMO, people with powers like that would probably just stand there and do them instead of wafting like that.
Turns out that Jonas, once again, is somehow superior to us earth humans.

Maybe they need it to collect all their mental powers in their hand or so. Like they do in Dragonball :)

If that were true there would have been a lot more grunting and staring.

LOL, that's right. But you are not trying to talk bad about the best Anime show they made ? :P HEHEHE.
But I think that's how people think that kind of energy works. Collect all the energy of your body in one point. Something like that.
Anyway, could you tell me what the episode is about ? As I said, we haven't seen it here.

With minimal spoilers:
The Russian Stargate team brings back an alien refugee from a planet. He tells SG1 that Nirrti is experimenting on his people and asks their help. A few minutes later he dies because every cell in his body liquifies. SG1 and the Russian team gate to Nirrtis planet and fight their way into her fortress. There they meet some deformed individuals with advanced telekinetic powers who believe that Nirrti is a God. They disarm SG1 by the power of their minds and imprison them.
Not gonna reveal much more :D Too many spoilers.

Nirti tells him that his race is much closer to being telekenetic and the like - more eveolved, in other words, than earth humans. And whatever happened to the others in the machine she used ddin't happen to him for some reason.
