That site doesn't allow you to direct link to images (probably to save on bandwidth.) But, I went to the page and I see the two you mean and I like them also. In fact, I like the jumpsuit with the TNG color scheme a little better than the uniforms they actually used on DS9 and Voyager. But, they obviously decided to go with something a little different (unfortunately. ;))

Yeah, I was never a big fan of the DS9 pajamas :P

Anyways, here is the fully penciled 6 page run for that little trek comic, with properly cleaned up panel devisions. Next phase will be to ink it and color it and letter it and call it done...than get back to meh regular project :D

Ohyeah, if it doesn't really seem to go anywhere, is because this is fit into the plot line in an email game. So there is stuff written out that goes before and after it

Really cool sketches :) Looks like "More trouble with Killer-Tribbles" :D For my taste an Anime Star Trek Comic is an interesting new aspect of this show.

Yah its a pity though that the artwork in the Star Trek manga is very plain.

Some very interesting work here! :)

I'm not a very big fan of Star Trek (or Star Wars... or Star Gate... or Starship Troopers... come to think of it, most things with "star" in it don't grab my attention), but please don't hold that against me.

I am, however, a great believer in new and original stuff... this has got lots of potential. :)

Well....more stuff NOT related to my comic book! But hell might as well post it anyways! I will eventually draw more stuff for my comic...well actually I have, I just have not scanned it yet!

Anyways first, a rommie, gotta love the rommies. But this ones a redhead...why? Because thats why..lol... Anyways messing with my new copic markers here. I am pretty happy with the results! They are AWESOME!

Well, anything's possible. I mean, they found a way to make blond hair and blue-eyed Denise Crosby a Romulan. I'm sure you could always BS a back story like they did for her. ;)

I have a couple of books from the '80s written by Diane Carey where she has a Vulcan character who has red hair. He's supposed to have been from a smaller, lesser-known province on Vulcan. Maybe your Romulan's ancestors came from that province when they fled Vulcan after the war.

They're called Dreadnought! and Battlestations! and they're two of my favorite ST books. Dreadnought! was the first ST book I ever read, when I was in about the 7th grade or so. :D

Ok, so I am done being lazy and getting back to work on my comic :P

So here is some more concept art. Not very impressive I know, but I will have some much cooler stuff to show you guys soon!

So to start off the main characters laser pistol. I went through quite a few concepts before I got to one I liked that was easy to draw. There is some homage to Han Solo's blaster for sure, but I think it's nifty :P

Next, interior concepts. I know one of you guys wanted to see that stuff. So we have some of the planning for the insides of the main characters ship (posted back on page 1). First the general internal layout

Next are some concepts for the main control panel in the cockpit. I am torn between using idea #1 and #2. 1 has the futuristic fighter plane thing going for it, but 2 makes me think the dashboard of a 70's muscle car, which I like.

Not a huge update, but I think I have FINALLY finalized the main characters ship's bridge. Took a lot of revisions and crumpled up papers, but I have a sketch I LIKE :P

Just read through this thread (and the comic pages with the psycho tribble)... fun stuff!

I personally like the anime styling of the characters and comedic action in those pages.

Be interesting to see this modeled out with something like DAZ3D or Poser.
