Chrisp Water, Blue Sky's
|
two things:
the three tips of the mountainrange to the right look extremly fake because they are made of too few faces and are topped off by a single vertex each. the ship doesn't interact with the enviroment. if an object of that size flies over water it has to do so at a vey high speed or it will drop down like a stone. it will press air and water away, ploughing though the water. other than that it is really nice, so if you can/want to change it a bit it will be very good :) |
It's using artificial gravity so it can go over the water any speed it wants to, Chris.

My only concern is that the ship needs a bit more fill light, it seems too dark, the shadowed parts should be lit by light reflecting off the landscape. That not withstanding it's quite a nice image :)
And starships use warp fields and thrusters to "fly" ;) |

It's the reflection. It's completely wrong. Get a plate and a mirror, hold the plate over the mirror in roughly the same angle and you'll see how it's wrong. When you reflect something you flip it upside down like this: < but you've done it like this: //. See what I mean?
