Cool to see them in a scene together, but I don't know about the positioning. My inner pervert had a few comments that are best not shared here... :)

Actually, the bots are okay - I think it's just a matter of our viewing angle. If we could see this from the side, I think it would work much better. Of course, if we could see one of them shooting at the other, that would just be friggin' awesome. :D

The detail is great. Notice the tire treads.

Why the fuq not, everyone else on every other forum hasnt had a problem sayin it...

General Phoenix October 15th, 2004 11:39 PM

Yeah, but we have tact here at 3DG. :)

BTW, is the structure they're fighting on supposed to be anything specific, or just something you threw together for this scene?

Darrell Lawrence October 16th, 2004 01:25 AM

...errr And here I thught the one had tripped and the other missed catching him, hence "He must be stopped" from falling. :D

skyhawk223 October 18th, 2004 09:19 AM

Yeah, uh...sure. That's it. That's in the same vein as "I thought she had something in her eye..."

Darrell Lawrence October 18th, 2004 02:47 PM

Actually, if the red dude was moved to teh right a bit, with it shown his left arm wrapping around the other dude, it'd look like he was tackling him (which I think was intended- the tackling?)

Mike Wright October 18th, 2004 07:50 PM

DUDE! *lol*

Somehow I find your lack of knowledge of Transformers: The Movie" somewhat disturbing. I mean not entirely, I guess surprising is more the word I'm looking for. I thought everyone is this business had seen it. :)

Anyway, this is a direct scene recreation, and he's damn near nailed it. Pretty fantastic. I think the only way you could completely knock it out of the park is if you added motion blur, and a bit of glow around Prime's wound. (Though I can't remember if you could see it from that angle or not...)

Still, fantastic dude. Really good.

tgg7979 October 18th, 2004 09:11 PM

Thnx Mike. No btw, u wouldnt see the wound from here.

Btw General, in this case, it was intended to be a protion of "autobot city" where these too were goin at it, basically too the death.

In the UK Transformers the movie can be bought on DVD from any HMV or Virgin Megastore. <smugness>I have an original VHS (PAL, not NTSC) copy from the 1980's :) </smugness>

If you cant find it in the shops, try amazon or ebay.
