some dude makin' a st movie and starts good-just not getting off ground - and NOT me
 

there's this guy who has quite some capabilities and he (i guess) didnt post his idea on some forums so im trying to attract people. the project is here http://starbase385.hrhosting.net/forum/index.php so if you feel like, please help getting this project off the ground.

Funny how "this guy" has the same username as you huh ? If you want help just ask for it. Pretending that you have found something really interesting and want to share it with others is dishonest and we all get enough of that technique with spam email.

whahaha you misunderstood me!! whaha im only a participator there, but we've got not enough people to join! the guy i was talkin about is speedy, i just popped in and started to help and coördinate, cause he only came into 3D for the last 2 weeks! lol sorry if i sounded dishonest, but really i didnt start the project, speedy did!

edit: if you look good, you'll see Speedy is the only admin. no-one but him can alter the forum.

If I misunderstood you then I apologise. Theres been so much spamming of boards of late you do need to be very clear about your position in order that you are not appearing to use the same tactics.

Lighten up dude. He only posted a link. Are you an admin here? If not, I see no harm in postin a link unless its against the TOS here. And look at the date of link, it's been posted here for a while now. and, this should probably be posted in the animation section as it's a video.

Cryptie's got a point, dude. He said he wasn't the person who wanted the help and it looks like he's really just helping out a fellow artist with getting his or her project off the ground. And, all I see is a link to a forum, not an animation, so the thread is staying here, unless this is an official request for modelers/animators/whatever, then I'll move it to requests. I only left it where it was because it's not worded like the usual request. :wink:

Got it moving to requests, so people know it's an actual request. :storm:

BTW, can you give us more information or perhaps a link to the thread on the forum that describes the help needed so people don't have to search to find the info? :cylon:

Actually there's not really a page where clear things of request are. But i'll make one soon. (or speedy).

We need most of all: character animators. none of us can do character animation. And some people with the ability of good video edition would be welcome too. And of course general modellers and animators for space scenes. Oh, and someone with the ability to make good soundtracks. We're makin a movie that shows what happens after Voyager returns to the Alpha Quadrant.

So, basically, Speedy needs everything. ;)
