Lasers Assistance

Can anyone here supply me with a scene and object file for lightwave that has a scene in it of 2 ships using lasers against each other please. I want to grasp this, as I feel its the only thing holding me back.

Thank you.

What is it that you don't understand? How to do the laser beams? How to do the beams hitting the target ship?

One thing that's always bugged me about most space battle scenes is that you should almost never see two ships sitting side by side pouding each other. It looks cool, but these ships should be in weapons range long before they could see each other, much like navel ships on the ocean today.

That's my two cents, spend it how you like.

Seems to me like he wants someone to make the scene for him so he can copy it. :storm:

That is the way it is portrayed in the anime "GunBuster". The ships fire brilliant laser broadsides off into the distance. Later, the enemy weapons fire appears from the distance, from ships too far off to see.

Go to my website:

and scroll down to the GunBuster images.
