Retro Control Room
1 Attachment(s)
This was done as an experiment to see if I could build a room similar in style to the sets in 1960s Gerry Anderson puppet shows.
Most of what you see was built in Truespace 4. Only the Clock and the old wireless on the wall are from available sources. It was all rendered in Bryce 4. As you can see I did it a while ago, and I'm thinking of expanding the theme. Hope you like it. Iain |
I got rid of your "other" thread as you requested.
Get some characters running around this scene and you have a winner. |
I have yet to figure out how to build a Gerry Anderson style puppet character in 3D.
Using the DAZ M3 and V3 character morphs and changing the scale of heads and hands might do it, though. Has anyone ever tried it? |
That's frickin' awesome.
Are those models from "other sources" freeware or commercial models? If they're freeware, you have to credit the author(s) on the image. If you paid for them, not necessarily (though it is a nice courtesy.) |
I have no idea who made them, sorry.
The clock was a Renderosity freebie, and the radio came from a free disc off a magazine. These two items are the only items not modelled by me |
if you make the puppets, are you going with the wires or not?
|
I would add them in PhotoShop :)
