3DGs Musical Corner (updated Daily) "What are you Listening to".
This has been a popular thread on a few of the sites that I hang around at.
As you work on your model or animation or image what has you inspired today Change the name .. to "3DGs Musical Corner" anyone have a better one :) Rule 1. I you post a link credit the composer, singer or film. just as you would with a mesh or you should :) Rule 2. No belittling or derogatory comments on member musical preferences (its a sad world sometime) Rule 3. No link that could possibly offend (if in doubt don´t post link) |

Today I am listening to the soundtrack of "Clash of the Titans".
from the film in the 1980s.Leonard Rosenthal one of my favorite composers. what will I be listening to tomorrow. stay tuned and if your unlucky i will hum it for you. :arrow: |

Tomorrow may be The Last Starfighter theme or Star Trek: First Contact theme (I love that particular them). Maybe some good ol rock-n-roll too.

Feeling a little melancholy today .:axe: So I have been listening to the OST from Charley Chaplin today .. music of note is "Smile" which was apparently written by Chaplin or the words anyway.

That is so funny to find this thread. I almost never listen to music when I work, but for inspiration, Need for Speed soundtracks and of course, sci-fi themes. DS9, although short, is still one of the best written pieces, along with T2 theme.

Had to share this discovery. long forgotten but the music I remember well... from the MAESTRO Ennio Morricone.
A true master of this field and one of the most versatile. Marco Polo. for TV Ennio Morricone Soundtrack http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkjiOUocLFg&NR=1 Morricone really brings something magical to his music. this is a wonderful example of that skill. this is another version of the theme http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuO2VFga5Ww&NR=1 1982 .. I was 12 and enjoyed this TV show a lot and surprised and delighted to see Leonard Nimoy in the cast. also one of the shows that opened my eyes to the larger world and the people on it. We will be hearing more from him over time... he heads the ranks of masters like Goldsmith, Williams, Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard please post comments if you like something and your thought if you have a moment. :) I enjoy this music and Hope you do to. any request for me to locate music to share I will. but you you can also post youtube link if you what use to shay your joy in music. it does not have to be film only, |
