Detail That Ship: USS Marion
 

The "Detail that ship" contest reminded me of a concept flowing around in my head, so I'd thought I'd do my own detail design.

Although it's a Federation Starship, I decided on a unique design element: the warp nacelles are a hybrid between the "Earth" design and the "Vulcan" design.

I've attached a view from the dorsal port side of the front, side, and rear of the ship. I've started putting some color into it, but it is subject to change...

I like it. The blend of the nacelle designs is very clever, as is the way you turned the base mesh into a Federation starship. :)

nice design, but maybe the blue color on the top of the ring doesn't fit very well with the complete model, maybe you should try some little blue stripes instead of a two big ones
