William Windom (OS Star Trek's Commodore Decker) has died
A fine actor who will always be remembered by Star Trek fans as the man who went up against the Doomsday Machine and lost - and in so doing showed the Enterprise crew how to defeat the undefeatable.

Yeah, I saw that on the Phase II forums. It's a shame, he was a great actor.

Doomsday Machine is possibly my fav episode, mainly because of his performance of the broken Decker. Quote:

Yeah, William really stole ever scene he was in in The Doomsday Machine. He was fantastic. It's one of my favorites too, specifically for that reason.
