I don't know what prompted that bunch of babbling BS but here's the deal. Dredging up a WIP thread that hasn't been posted in for 5 years to make an "Ooh pretty" comment just to have 5 posts on the forum is stupid. It has nothing to do with bandwidth but with the fact that doing so needlessly bumps a dead thread. There's absolutely no point in it. Odds are that the person running said WIP thread has either finished or abandoned the project and moved on with their life. And, if you think this is the only forum on which this kind of behavior is frowned upon, guess again. Most of the 3D art forums I've been on don't like it.
