Well, the inconsistency in lighting is because the 'vortex' wasn't planned, but rather added in afterwards in photoshop. And the reason the lighting isn't as good on the big ship is cause I had to hide the markings so there weren't two excaliburs
. I didn't feel like making the registry changes for what I thought at the time would've been a quick picture!
