First Post And A...uhm...Stargate?

Hey Guys, this is my first post in here. I registered a few weeks ago, but there was not much to show...until now :evil:

Well, I can´t draw so the first three pics are concepts so far for the stargate, warpgate, jumpgate or watergate (?).

The rest of the pics is, what i want to be the real thing

Looks like one of two things.
(a.) Mirror Universe (Terran Empire) Transdimensional Transporter
(b.) Taelon/Companion "Portal" ("Earth: Final Conflict".)

Elowan: Thanks. I´ll do my best to finish it a soon as possible and to try more of this.

General & Morgan: I tried not to copy an existing design. I don´t watch that much TV or Movies. Do you have some links where i could have a look at those gates you mentioned?
I try to find some by myself, but i were glad so see what exactly you mean. How many ways are there to do a gate, if the basics start with a ring?

This ring is a part only. I want that gate with nine rings like the one that the second pic shows.
