Default Olympic variant (2D)

Here's something I've started to pass the time. It's obviously based on the Olympic-class. This ship is smaller at fourteen decks. I don't think the curves where the rear sections meet the sphere are quite right, but you get the idea. Yes, I'm using MS Paint.

Here's an update. I think it looks pretty cool. I like the more compact design as opposed to the Olympic. And there will be NO phaser strips.

That's a solid looking vessel.

Here's a little update. She's officially U.S.S. Nightingale. Class? I don't know.

I'm liking everything but the engines at the moment.

Agreed. Although I might feel better about them if we could get a different angle on them. Any chance of a front view in the near future?

Is it the length and or dimensions of the nacelles, or the actual design? Is if the field grid part or the bussards? To tell the truth I'm not entirely happy with them myself.

It's the actual esign, mostly the bussards. Take a look at the Olympic class engines and make something a little more similar to those.

New nacelles. Olympicesque but shorter with a slightly pointed bussard. What say you?
