COOL My best yet!

This is my latest WIP - a 1969 Camaro Z28 - my favorite car bar none.
The exterior modeling and texturing is all done.
All that is left to do is build the interior and make the windows transparent.
Then she will be ready to drop into some cool scenes.
I am having a small problem with anti aliasing in regards to the hood stripes so if anyone has some suggestions please post them.
This image was done with the catmull - rom aa filter.
Oh and BTW - this is all native MAX - I did not use Brazil for this.

Wow. Very nice. I am not a fan of the yellow, canary is it? The details is nice so far, and the wheels and the dual pipes particularly caught my eyes. Nicely done!

AND . . . Nice 'plates.

Thanks Guys!
Actually this is one of my favorite color schemes for this car.
Hey those are real Alberta plates - with a little modification in Photoshop.

Outstanding. I live a block away from a custom-classics dealer and they usually have a least one Z for sale. Looks like it would sit in the showroom The yellow looks great BTW.

I hope to come down to your neck of the woods in the next year or two to pick one of these up.

Here are a couple sample images I quickly did up yesterday.
The white and orange was just a color test to see what the Indy Pace Car version will look like.
You will never see an actual 69 Z28 in this color scheme - only the Pace Car had this color scheme.

just a thought... I know this is the wrong car .. but how about doing one up like a Mad Max pursuit? (the actual yellow's were Ford Falcons, only made in Oz...) but I got a feeling it would look rather good....

You R AWESOME Dude !!!
I bow down to you,
and shall do your bidding

Canary yellow is cool. I used to have a car that was canary yellow...easy to find at parking lots-at least until it got stolen
Your models are always awesome!

The Canary yellow is so cool but that W/O pace car scheme would be a big seller

thats really exceptional modeling and rendering sean! excellent work. man your skills have progressed so much over the past couple of years. Great job, look forward to your next one

*edit btw, my only crit would be to get a bit more light underneigth the car, just a tad so we can make out the tire treads. you know, all that lightr bouncing around would create a *little* bit of ambient light under there. And abotu the hood stripe, did you already try turing on the super sampling (and changing the ss type too) for that particular texture? you'll take a render hit, but I found it works pretty good for problems like that.

Thanks Thomas and Jason.

Jason - Yeah I've been playing with the AA and the SS settings and I can't get rid of all the "jaggies".
I think I will have to switch to Brazil to get rid of them.

aren't those wheels just a slight touch too big for the wheel wells?
