I was colouring away on another picture when I looked at and saw that it was going to be the what...?... 10th picture out of the last 15 or so that I've done that was going to be basically desaturated green/orange/yellow as a colour scheme.

Ok, so deciding to put that aside for now, I went looking through my lineart stash and decided to do this one simply to give myself a kick up the arse and do a highly saturated, non-green/orange/yellow picture!! - so here it is!

pencils = David Finch and inks = Joe Weems. based on the original colour scheme by Steve Firchow.

Not that we were counting the desaturated green/orange/yellow images but, now that you mention it, that is a nice change of pace.

I really like it - so I guess it was the right decision to colour it this way... What do you think about a red/orange/yellow colour scheme for one of your next projects ??
