Actually, it's not the ship in the new series. There are scans of that in the Subspace Relay. The new ship looks mor elike an Akira than an Akyazi.

I think he meant - these would have been better than that 24th century ship that is trying to pass for a 22nd century ship. I'd agree! I've already read excuses that 'real world technology' and ' effect capabilities' precluded coming up with a unique 22nd century design. They're just F*#@ing lazy! They are saying this because we (the people who will watch the show) seem to know more about the series than they ever will, they know they have insulted us!

Oops This should go somewhere else (he..he..he..).
