Default STTNG 3D Models

Hi Guys,
I am working on a small project of my own which will be a multi-player pvp game based around STTNG.

So I am basically looking for models for everything from the series if you have any links or info that would be great.

Thanks in advance,

Sin

Our Download Center has a lot of really nice TNG models, for ships and characters alike. Check it out when you get a chance.

Just be sure that you check with the mesh authors before you do anything commercially with the models.

Oh man, There are some awsome models there, thanks so much.

I would just like to add that I have been looking around these forums and you guys (and girls!) are doing some awsome stuff.

Can't wait to get some of these models into my project, they are going to look so nice.

I am just working on me flight model at the moment and I am getting bored of looking at the same old ugly ship and boring station I am using!

Thanks again,

Sin

Hi Taranis,
I am using Milkshape at the moment. Though it struggles with some of the models from here due to the high poly count.

I will probably look at getting a better program at some point, But like I say, I am no graphic artist/modeler!

I enjoy programming so I try and get models that are ready to use where possible.

My flight engine is coming along nicely though the engine trails need better particles. The ones I have created really are poor <g>

Emittors and Attractors whats all that about! lol

Anyway, its good fun to get involved on the graphics side of things. Lots to learn but getting there slowly

These models although very, very good have way to many poly's for me to use in my game. Which I realize is because they are so highly detailed etc.

Does anyone do these in a lower poly count and smaller scale?

Thanks,

Sin

Thanks Taranis.

If anyone has any small models that they would not mind me using for a personal project or even fancy getting involved and doing some ships/stations etc please let me know or get in touch!

I have no plans to release anything on a comercial scale incase anyone is worried about that side of it. Like I say, I enjoy coding and my flight engine is really taking shape now and it would be cool to see some good stuff in space while I am flying around.

Hope this is not off topic! will stop boring you now <g>

How ever it would be good for you to get a clip of your models in action to show them off!

Thanks again,

Sin

This site also has several Star Trek models. Not sure of the poly count

Sin, you might want to check out some of the sites for modding Starfleet Command 1-3, Bridge Commander and similar games. Alot of those sites have lower poly meshes available for download as they're meant to be used in games...
