Nayslayer, I've noticed that in several of your pics you've use this same composition: an attractive planet below with a small ship placed above but not overlapping. This composition is a bit static and also seems to be putting more emphasis on the planet than on the ship. I suggest that you make the ship larger in the pic so that it overlaps the planet and place at least one of the elements off center.

Also, the lighting seems a bit off. The ship is lit softly from the top front and left while the planet is lit strongly from the bottom left. The planet looks a bit naked too without some cloud cover.

A tip on scene creation that was told to me by a former friend-

Not all objects in the scene need to be seen in full.

In this case, move the planet to either the left or right sides, where only a part of it is visable.

Take a look at my USS Excalibur/USS Detroyat pic to get an idea- The Excalibur is only partly in the pic.

Or you can look at the Excalibur pics I posted over on the Premier forums- In either pic, the entire ship is *not* shown
