Default Animating a rope in 3ds MAX 4

Hey peoples,

Look at the picture

What I’m trying to do is get this setup so that if I pull at the end of the red rope that has the ball on it the rope will slide around the cylinders and pull the blue half of the platform up (which would just pivot at the edge were it meets the green platform) so that its at an angle. I really have no idea how to get this to work so any suggestions you might have would be appreciated. Thanks!
