Battlestar thrusters
I have been working on these thruster for some time. Thanks to starship over at scifimesh for the tutorial I have found a very cool effect for tan.j battlestar Andromeda.

with some adjusting to fit the oval thruster housing and then I changed the colors to something more to my liking.

wow, very nice indeed lonewriter... did you do the mesh as well? were can i see more of it? i'm writing in an interactive story group based on the Battlestar universe so I'm very into BSG stuff...

thanks, and right now this mesh isn't hosted anywhere but you can find his other meshs on scifimesh and foundations3d. I use lightwave 9.5 but I also use Max occasionally. tan.j's Battlestars are his own design. I just made the thrusters and added the lighting rig.
