Serenity encounters a booby-trapped derelict spacecraft carrying the lone crewmember of a brutal Reaver attack. During their salvage and rescue operation, Mal's ship is boarded by an Alliance vessel looking for Simon and River Tam.

Another good episode (though, if you read all of my reviews in this forum, I think you'll find that I like them all.

) It offers us a chilling look into what exactly the Reavers are all about. It also shows how the Alliance deals with (or doesn't deal with) the problem. And, once more, we see what kind of hero our Captain Mal Reynolds is when he protects River and Simon from the alliance.
