Who has watched the remastered "Enhanced" classic Star Trek episodes

what are your thoughts and impressions of the new cgi scenes that have been added,, or the work on the Enterprise and other craft..

over all what did you think..

I picked up the dual HD/DVD Star trek first season disk recently. (Gotta love Digital formats going belly up as I picked em' up for a song on Amazon.) I like what they've done to the episodes. The new effects are not too obtrusive and the cleaned up sound is great. Some episodes work better than others but I'd say thumbs up.

I like it too .. and am dropping hints every where I think that will do some good
for X-Mas and Birthday gifts ..

I presume it's the Blu-Ray disks that you're hinting for? It would have been nice if they'd release the three seasons as standard DVD's as there is still a lot of folk that hasn't moved to the Hi-Def world yet. (I know that I'm one of them.) I thought that 'Tomorrow is Yesterday' was a great improvement on the old version of the episode.
