ANNOUNCEMENT :

Ok I have been chatting to our great leaders regarding the ending of the contest .. been the 3rd of NOVEMBER .. ending a 2 week contest .. the feeling is that this may not be enough time with real live situations to deal with..

this is in part my error .. as it was my idea to start it and the reins of power when to me.. and I have been a bit short sighted in some areas.

So I would like to know by all participating members ,, Do you want an other week.. to finish up .. that would make it the 10th of November the finish..

Please Respond asap ..

The 10th would give me a chance to actually attempt a texture treatment. As it is I'll barely make the deadline with work obligations. The 10th would be great. (But don't do it for me alone.)

I think we have enough "Aye" votes to go ahead and extend it.

With the excellent work I've seen from all of you, I'd be more than willing to wait an extra week to start voting.

I would also agree with the extension. I'm making progress on my entry, but I'm going to be swamped with work until just after Election Day. Another week would be great.

Edit: Oops, too late for chiming in. But thanks for the extra time.

Well to be far and as people have real life to deal with too... if some one need more PM me and I will extend if needed .. don't forget that member well be voting on the design they like best .. (not their own now

) ..... So the Voting day can facilitate those that need the extra time ..
You can Texture if you like .. but it a design focused.. texturing would be like icing on the cake .....

This is my first contest .. and designs wise a roaring success.. I have been stunned at the stuff been submitted..

I hope that some will end up in our downloads area .. Mine will

Oh, now I like it being extended to the 10th.....gives me a little more time to juggle things between work, the new move and getting this project done.

Actually, the next contest is kinda similar to this one, but has a definitive starting point.
