Default Star Trek Visits Mayberry

While wandering around the internet I found a interesting little Star Trek tidbit that made me laugh. I'm sure this is a well known fact among Star Trek fans, but I didn't know so I thought I'd share cause I thought it was funny.

The pic is from "City on the Edge of Forever."

Floyds barber shop is located in Mayberry the fictional town from "The Andy Griffith Show."

I didn't know that. I don't think I've seen much of The Andy Griffith Show. If I saw any episodes, I was very young and I retain nothing from the experience.

Only Barney (Knotts) had the one bullet. Taylor (Griffith) had a normal count of them.

As for the connection with Trek and the AG Show, I never knew that either.

Sheriff Taylor didn't carry a gun.

But he still had a normal count of bullets. He just didn't carry them, along with the gun.

Please don't double post. Though, it looks like you may have accidentally hit "quote" instead of "edit," which is understandable.

Maybe he had an "accident" like the Sheriff in the movie Wild Hogs and that's why he didn't carry a gun.
