I had a killer site for lightwave tutorials once, but it appears to have gone offline...anyone know what ever happened to LW3G? Anyway, some very good Photoshop tutorials used to be found here-

Yah but if you talk about anything other than Lightwave, people will call you a goober and throw rocks at you.

J/K

It's a great site. I was worried when LWG went away but I think the F3D people have done a good job keeping it alive. I've love to become a registered user over there but after my last software purchase I'm afraid I am going to be pretty broke for a while. LOL!

But it was worth it... I picked up Adobe Creative Suite 4 Master Collection. Hurray for me!

After Effects is the coolest thing I've ever seen!

Foundation eh? I'll have to give it a look. I use lightwave a lot (since version 1.0). I've branched out to include a few other programs for 3D, but it's still my primary. Thanks Fretslayer.

How is that coming?

Any chance us broke people that are using 8.0 of LW will still be able to do the tutorial?

Hope you still plan on making this tutorial. Would be awesome.

Its coming on OK after a break, I restarted work on it a few days ago.

all the tools I am using are the native tools in Lightwave, the basic ones.
No additional plugins are been used.

so Lightwave 8 will be just fine. its the LW version I started on

I trying to finish it asap.

Some notes about the listed blender tutorials in the OP

These apparently no longer exist:
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Category:Blender
http://blenderartists.org/cms/content/view/17/53/
http://digitalvault.bt.com/invite/lo...a&r=mg&lang=en by psycoderek

These still exist, but use the pre 2.5x UI, so can really only be used as reference only, and not as 'tutorials' per se:
http://www.ibiblio.org/bvidtute/
UV-Mapping in Blender recommended by psycoderek
http://www.blender.org/features-gall...video=multi_uv

This one seems to be the only one listed that's still relevant. Since it deals with the new UI.
