Re: Federation Civil War
I like that. Judging from the rollbar, I think I know which ship that is and that really suits the style of the ship. The only thing not sitting well with me is that image you used for the windows but I can't say I've never done that.

Re: Federation Civil War
That picture in the window might just be a temp for now. I actually kind of like, that's why I also used it on Saladin class ship.
Just to let you know it's from the movie Alien Nation.

Re: Federation Civil War
Alien Nation is a great movie. I can't see the image well enough to tell what part it's from, though.

Re: Federation Civil War
UPDATE...
Back to the Claymore class ship.
I made some cutouts on the saucer section. I also borrowed my airlock from the Soval class ship and tested a texture on the big sensor-rama thingy. I also added impulse engines.
That first picture happens to be image number 666. For some reason that number's been poping up alot for me lately.

Re: Federation Civil War
UPDATE...
It's not much but I had to do something.
I decided to go all the way back to my Soval class ship and start on a few textures and add a few new bits. I started on the impulse engines first. I'm thinking of rebuilding the bridge for this thing and a few other parts.

Re: Federation Civil War
After the death of one of my dogs I don't really feel like doing any work.
But I do have a few more pictures of textures done before.
The impulse assembly is finished and I started on the warp engine. I don't know when I'll get back to work on anything. But I know I will.

Re: Federation Civil War
Do you mean the avatar? Because I don't know what's funny about the thumbnails.
I see you inspiration is chicks and beer. That's funny because mine is chicken wings and beer.

Re: Federation Civil War
As I said on your blog, I'm sorry to hear about your dog. I'm sure nobody blames you for not doing a lot of work on your WIPs, animals are like children to those of us who have them.
Great work on the textured bits.

I love Hooters.
I've decided I want the hull markings to look like this.

Who doesn't? When I was in the Army, my squad used to sometimes go there for lunch. There's nothing like Hooters in the middle of a workday to brighten up even the crappiest of jobs.

Re: Federation Civil War
Some neat creations you've got here. I particularly like the Soval mesh; reminds me of a Trek-style cruise ship.

Re: Federation Civil War
Thank you.
I decided to break out inkscape and take a shot at doing a new Starfleet uniform. It's rough at the moment since it's the time I've tried something like this and the first time I've used this program

Re: Federation Civil War
UPDATE...
After finding out the good news that my other dog doesn't have cancer in his eye. I decided to go back to an old ship and do a little work.
I added more windows mostly. There is also a few more details to the lower part of the ship. And I also did a little work on the option science platform on the tail of the ship.

Re: Federation Civil War
I think I've finished the details for the outer part of the blade. I also added disrupters to the top and bottom of the blade.
