Re: Space 1999 - Moon Patrol
I remember being a fan of 1999 when I was a little kid. It aired back in the mid 70s here in the U.S and even though I was quite young (at the time) I did notice that the 2nd season was way off from the first. I can recall conversations with my Dad about it and he said they brought in new writers (he was just guessing, but he guessed right) and we slowly stopped watching the show.
This might be a stupid question but is the show available on DVD?

It's also the quickest way to find anything, especially if you have Firefox 2 or 3 with the Google search in the top right corner. All I did was open a new tab and enter "space 1999 dvd" into the search and it did the rest.

I have often thought the a show like Space1999 should be attempted again..

I had an Eagle but it was green !!! - seem to recall the Interceptor from UFO was also Green, did Matchbox/corgi think we wouldn't notice...
Nicepic by the way, perhaps you should have eroded part of the moon to show the damage by the explosion?

Thanks for your positive feedback.
A good idea if I render the dark side of the moon sometime - for this pic I´ve chosen the other side of the moon. Perhaps I add also the moonbase for a closer view next time...

Re: Space 1999 - Moon Patrol
The Eagle and Moonbase were part of the LW content a few versions ago. I think version 8.
Liked this first pic now how about another?

I can´t say when the next "alpha-pic" is coming - there are some other pics that I plan to make. ( and some meshes but learning how to make it costs unfortunately much time ) Also I´ve had not the right inspiration for the next scene so far... ( But I guess I´ll render one or two Space 1999-scenes before this year ends )
I´ve not unpacked the moonbase I´ve downloaded a few weeks ago - unfortunately I´ve found it two days too late for this scene.

Do it (the unpacking) and once open you just might have that elusive idea come to you!
