More work on the look of the engines.

More detail in the forward cavern including the addition of 6 torpedoe/missile launchers.

Beginning to work on textures. I'm gonna keep it simple because not only do I hate doing textures I suck at them as well.

Before I begin, yes I know about the problem with the flares on the engines. I'll fix them later when I figure out what's wrong I'm focusing on the textures right now.
And speaking of textures I've figured out the blend material and I like very much.

how did you make those engine flares?
doesn't it have any heavy weapons? only saw those gun pods on the sides...

The engine flare are just the lens flare effect in 3D Studio Max.
The gun pods are all the ship needs besides the missile tubes up front. The guns might appear small but the pack a mean punch. Plus these ships are seldom on their own.

UPDATE...
More textures. I've added the Royal M'Aangan Symbol(as seen on the fighter). Although there is no longer a royal family since all was lost in a terrible accident over a hundred years ago. The symbol continues to be used out of respect.

very nice, just not sure about the texturing on top though, can't place my finger on it bit it clashes with the overall design and look, thats how it seems for me at least...

Thanks. I just wanted to bring a bit of the color from the center of the ship up to the top and bottom sections of the hull.
