Thanks Thomas!!!!!!!!!
Sorry guys... no update for last night. I was at work until midnight again
BTW: On a higher note, I have been approached by a CG company to do some professional freelance work. The co-companies are ComplXMinds and IMA. They saw my work on the Serenity model and offered me a "professional" CG job. YEA!!!!!!!!!!! My first paying CG job!

Thanks skyhawk!
Having received comments from three forums, here are the things that need modifying on the mesh:
1. Add plasma whisps from the fusion drive
2. Dirty up the entire vessel to be a filthy as the head
3. Add better textures to reactor section of the ship.
4. Double-side some polygons to stop light passthrough (noticable on the port wing engine)
5. Increase luminosity of light effects coming from the rotating section--not casting enough light on the back of the crew dome.
6. Do an animation showing the moving parts.
7. Add more bump textures to the backlegs
8. Add more atmospheric scortching to the wings and wing engines.
9. Modify the voulmetric lights used to create the wing thust--give it more texture.

Congratulations!!!!! I am happy to hear another of our little band has made it to the bigtime! And its well deserved.
This really is a superior mesh!!! I'm happy just to see it develop. Being a fellow browncoat its just good to see the Serenity at all! I'm excstatic they are making a new movie. But this is the only new thing to really chew on till it comes out.
I was wondering. You have alot of good textures on that thing. I was wondering, besides a cloud like fractal and a base color, what else is in those textures? How does one do a texture so good?

1. I have not used fractals or turbulance onthe textures.
2. All the color map textures are done in Photoshop -- then converted to greyscale for dif, spec and Bump maps.

OK... UPDATE! I found some holes in the mesh and repaired them. I think it primariliy done. I'll probably tweak the textures a little more before releasig it, because I'm not satisfied with them all. Also I was asked on another forum to provide some ortho views....I'll render those later this weekend. For now I leave you with: Beauty shot 2.0--"Port of Call"
Comments always welcome!

Congrads! It is outstanding and I think your work has always been of the quality that could garner $$$ work.
