At least you have a good excuse. Mine usually go unfinished because sometimes I have the attention span of a gnat.

Yes, well, that's kind of the other reason too...

That's why I model like a kid in a candy store (fast and furious.) I never know when inspiration or motivation will leave me.

They appear to when they repeatedly attempt to fly into my ear. I mean, something has to be telling them that it's a good idea and they're persistent little buggers.

Re: Blake's 7 Liberator DSV
Looks cool. Kind of like a cosmic fly.
I like how you've given the mesh a clean look and while it's still retro looking, one can tell the detail work you've done on it. I would imagine its very easy to take a design like this, begin true to the original design and finish with a re-imagined version. It's cool that you managed to make this and yet it still has a 'classic' look and feel to it.
I've seen the ship before but never knew what show it was attached to.
After reading up a bit on the show I think I'll check it out.
Something about the scifi shows we have here in the U.S that I hate is most of them are nothing more than reworked westerns (i.e. good guy=white hat, bad guy=black hat - every moral issue is black or white) and I can only think of one scifi show in the last 4-5 years that we had here that wasn't that way. And as many of us have learned...Life is rarely ever 'black or white.'

That is incredible! She looks excellent! Oh boy what a beaut. I can almost hear the theme tune when I look at her.

Looks like its time for someone to call the guys doing the remake and let them see her. Anyone got their number?

Every model needs more work in the eyes of the one who created it.

It's a rare person that can walk away from something they've worked on and not want to tweak it in some way. 'Paintings are not finished, they are abandoned.'

Very true words!
I've always had a saying 'Know when to put the brush down and just walk away.'
I cannot count the number of really nice paintings I've seen ruined by it's creator who just had to add one more thing.
Knowing when to just stop is itself, a form of art.

You're right about that. I feel that way about my models. Eventually, I just get to the point where I don't want to frack with them anymore.

Re: Blake's 7 Liberator DSV
The crappy part comes when you're nowhere near a complete stage and you don't want to frack with it anymore.
