I used to have an awesome set of bookmarks but when I upgraded to SP3 it killed them (because they were all in Firefox) and I've been trying to find some of them again. So I know the feeling. Sadly. LOL!

A Windows upgrade destroyed your bookmarks? That seems odd. I updated Vista from the original to SP1 and it left my bookmarks alone. Or did you completely reinstall Windows when you upgraded?

Yeah, thanks for yet another useful thread, bro. I really need to check out some of those links. Unfortunately, the problem I have isn't most of my 3D bookmarks I had before, it's some of the other stuff. Pages I found and said "Hey, that's cool" but I don't remember what they all were and where to find them. I don't know why FF3 won't let you copy over the bookmarks thing. FF2 would let you do it and, of course, IE is even easier to copy over your saved pages because they're listed individually (the one advantage IE has over FF, IMO.)

The only thing I did was install SP3 (on XP Pro) and ZAP there went my FF bookmarks.
Needless to say I was...We'll call it 'annoyed'. LOL!

I know it was nothing that I did - One of the things I thought about doing in my 'life after touring' phase was get my MCSE certifications. I have the books, I've set up countless networks and I have a few Microsoft certifications so I'm pretty solid with my machines. Heck, I even assemble my own and all of my family's computers.

I think it was just one of those nasty random things... I failed my 1d20 I guess.

Yeah, that's pretty freaky. Of course, it's not the most bizarre thing I've heard of Windows doing but it still sucks. I'm just glad Vista had been out for a couple years before I bought my PC. I've heard some horror stories of what it used to do to peoples' systems before they stabilized it.

Is there anyone that can help me I am trying to find a Excelsior Bridge mesh. I am trying to put together a website and was looking for pics of the bridge. If anyone can help please let me know

A few people are. Unfortunately, they'll be inaccurate because they're working from only the few shots of the models we've seen in the clips an still images.

I know at least one over at Foundation3D. But that is the only one I saw so far.

After much searching, I found this site. I use Daz3d and poser 8. Recently, after doing a few star trek uniforms, I decided to look for models of the various vessels, thing is, most are for blender or 3ds, which I don't have. Does anyone know where to find files that would work in poaser or daz?

Obj file work in Daz and Poser I think .. but they thend to need a little work..... what ships are you looking for .... some one might be able to give better information

Looking for the earlier starships, TOS. I found the ptolmey, but there are circles that appear about the nacels during rendering. I have yet to figure that one out. I am new to this, so there is much I still yet have to learn. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated

I was hoping someone might know where to find the mesh of this vessel. A small vessel, but really cool. I can't find any data as to crew compliment or capabilities. What I have learned if their motto- catch me if you can. Apparently a fast ship for its time. Anyone have any suggestions that might aid in my search?

I thought I knew most of the classes in Star Trek
