Default standards for Gladiators site

I have been studying the Gladiators website, and I have a few questions.

For the standard 5-shot renderings of a ship design, what are the sizes you are looking for? 640x480 each? larger/smaller?

Do you care if the model has elements kit-bashed from other meshes, as long as they are credited?

If the mesh is inspired by a 2d design (like Masao's great work!) should that be fully credited as well?

Do you allow copyright markers (or text) on the 5-shot renders? what about the beauty shots or other artistic renders?

Zoxesyr -

5 Views should all be 425x319 and you can provide the as TGA as we will covert them to GIF - unless you can make clean transparent GIF files. NO credits on the pics as that is in the side credits that are displayed.

I don't care if you kit-bash but you will need to credti where those parts came from and, again, these will be in the side-bar comments/credits area.

If the model is from someones 2D design, yes we will need to know who that is and provide credit.

Basically, when you submit work provide a text file that has all credits and any story elements that would go along with the model (5Views and scenes). The site design and credits are all incorporated and need not (should not) be in any work that is submitted as part of the site. We will applay a 3D Gladiators mark on all scene images.

Through out the site, where an artist/contibutors work is posted there are credits.

Scenes should be 1024x768.

How this helps.

ThomasP and skyhawk, do you want these requirements still for your new upcoming TOS site, or will you change them?

I think the existing standards are fine. Sorry for the delay in response.
