Churchill conversion
For those of you who do not know, I am working on a Max version of a ship I did a while back in Imagine.
At first I tried doing a straight conversion but there were so many problems with geometry I had scrap most of it. Fortunately about a year or so ago I started to re-build the ship in Max from scratch. I had the basic hull done so I was able to use it with the nacelles and other parts from the original ship.
I re-did some of the textures as well.
Just a few more details to add.

Beautifull !!
Always loved this ship. Could be a canon design.
I suggest a little more work on the textures of the naceles.
Can you imagine a scene with this ship and the Excalibur (made by Steve "Rivers3D") in action ?
Show us more Anarion !

Looks like an old design from the Starfleet Prototypes manual, the Starstalker class. Great updating of the design though...

Man..
I wish I could model like that. I'm still a newb. I was wondering though. Did you make your own aztec pattern? I need to get some info on how to make a decent aztec pattern.

Very Pretty!
Have you considered the blue rim lighting around the shuttlebays--ala the Reliant?

Blue lighting? The Reliant had blue light rims around the shuttlebay doors? Hrm, I forgot this . . .
I must as, Anarion, why do you have a fusion reactor dome assembly on the ventral and dorsal part of the ship? Does the ship use two sets of fusion reactors?
Also, this ship is looking awesome. Amazing converstion.

Nova: Nah. I decided against the blue lighting and used spotlights instead.
Zanith: I put a dome on the top and bottom to give the sense that the warp core has double the power output of the Constitution class.
Plus I think it looks neat.

Well, the fusion dome has nothing to do with the warp core, but if that is what you want, knock yourself out.

Actually, Zanith, the correct term is Impulse Deflection Crystal, and according to Mr Scott's Guide to the Enterprise, the uper terminus of the verticle intermix chamber is connected directly to it (and the impulse engines). If you want to get technical, that is. Perhaps Anarion's ship has a second deflection crystal for some other power need.

Well, I was referring directly to the structure, which is a dome, but you are more technically correct. True, sense it is not purely for the purpose of the impulse drive system but also good as a power source in general outside of that of the warp core, it is logical to have more thna one, pending in the ship configuration, size, and design service intentions.
However, that is all technical aspects that I think we do not all need to debate, right? Right!
I need to read more on the older ships technology, now that I think of it, I have only been reading a majority of the newer stuff.
Awesome work, Anarion!
