Dr. Who Forum?
Shall I add a Dr. Who forum here? Will it generate enough interest?

Though I rarely visit the site, I don't think there's too many topics on the subject, however to be knowledge there weren't with some of the others that have been turned into forums so... why not

looking at the forums I wonder why we've not got one anyway. we have forums for one series shows like Space above and beyond and Firefly, and ones for shows like Farscape.. yet we ignore the longest running SF show in the world? (43 years now....).. can't see the logic there..

So we here in America are still on Season 1? I've been trying to keep up with it, but I've only known about it for a few weeks.
Mmmm...I always miss the good stuff.

Hi. This is my first post and it seems proper to post here. I've loved Dr Who for years. Used to go to the conventions all the time. I think a Dr Who forum would be a great idea.

Maybe have the Doc Who forum cover the spin off "Torchwood" series the BBC have made as well?

That sounds like a good idea to combine them, since it's a spinioff.

Ok... now the question is: Who'd like to fill a Dr. Who forum up with content?

ok thats going to be a very large job...
there's 192 Stories, split into 1,2,3,4 or more episodes...
(thats not counting the upcoming season, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures, K9 Adventures(in development), or the Big Finish Audios (101 monthly releases (so far), Dalek Empire I-II-III-III, Cybermen, UNIT, Gallifrey I-II-II etc).
..I think the technical term is 'eep'

Ok. SO I forgot an "e"
I'd say start with the current, and work backwards?

Re: Dr. Who Forum?
I know, a bit old, but I thought I'd vote anyway.
Big fan here since 1982 while "rebounding" from the "death" of my childhood hero, Spock in "The Wrath of Khan". That August a local PBS affiliate started airing the Tom Baker stories in episodic format daily around 6 PM. Tom was so charismatic I was easily able to look beyond the argueably "constrained" budget.
Oh, and Kai and I go way back (though I suspect he may deny knowing me.
Sincerely,
Bill

Re: Dr. Who Forum?
Kai has a knack for showing up for a few posts and then vanishing for months (sometimes never returning to a particular forum).
But, yes, that is Kai's design. He posted WiPs upon several boards.
Sincerely,
Bill

Re: Dr. Who Forum?
Whats this? Doctor of what, time? Sheesh, an old dinosaur show that no knows about, with "daleks" and "weeping angels" (Peter Griffin voice) - and who flies around in a junky old police box anyway?
Oh, and im having some issues about Matt Smith - he doesn't carry around Time Lord as well as David Tennant did (speaking of which, DT is engaged to Georgia Moffat, who played "Jenny" in The Doctor's Daughter).
No one knows it, no one likes it, lets just exterminate the idea, 'k?

Well since this is a Dr Who thread I thought this might be a good place to put this pic of my Smith Box Tardis.

Re: Dr. Who Forum?
What's your favourite Tardis interior? My personal favourite is the 9th and 10th Doctor's Tardis interior. I also really liked the TV movie Tardis interior used by the 8th. (Paul McGann)

Re: Dr. Who Forum?
I liked the early ones a lot for there simplicity more than anything..
but I don´t watch Dr Who as much as I would like too.
Tom baker is the Dr Who I like the most..
