I think there was a thread about this at one point, though I could be wrong about that. Either way, it's a good thing to remind people about.

Re: Star Trek: Of Gods And Men
This has been finished off, the third and final episode was put out in June. Not bad at all, it is good to see some still care about the future of Roddenberry's dream and keeping it alive. Of course I enjoyed JG's performance.

Re: Star Trek: Of Gods And Men
That's because Tim Russ directed it. I have yet to see it but I have no doubt he did a great job on it. He put a lot of research into his portraying of Tuvok on Voyager, so I have no doubt he did his homework for this one.
A guy I know from a couple other forums worked on some CGI for this movie.

Re: Star Trek: Of Gods And Men
Watched this a few weeks ago.
I thought it was a great story, with so much homage given to the various elements and flavors from nearly all the Trek franchises.
While the acting was a bit wooden in some spots, and the sets sometimes revealed their lack of sophistication, I think it suffered (but only just a little) for not redoing a handful of those scenes. As a result, it did look too much like a fan-made production--but of course, one done by the most authoritative fans of all. Over all, IMHO, I'd asy it was a really awesome performance by the former actors & guest stars who truely showed their love of the series by making this!
Finally, the SFX & ships were just fantastic! The space battles were damned right professional-quality work! WELL DONE!!
