Try re-rendering with all the lights set to soft shadows (low sharpness) instead of raytraced. I found that when I do that, the shadows blend together quite smoothly and it looks more like a radiosity render, almost photorealistic.

Which mesh and texture set is it? The nacelles are particularly nice.
It might be fun to add a couple of tab a into slot b bits, also, if you added a glue tube, some paints, knives and brushes scattered around, it would tell the story really well. Some gouges and sratches on the table would be cool. I'd scan my exacto work mat for you, but I can't find it

The nacelles are Fabio's.
I might add that. I plan on taking a picture of my table and make it a background so it looks like a work bench or whatnot.

Great stuff! Ha!
How about this? Put the parts floating in orbit. Have an enormous tube of glue (Testors red, of course) manipulated by work bees. Have an enormous box in the background.

To funny - got have it up on the site. I'd like to see both, your work and Masao's suggestion.

At CultTVman there's a great page about the history of the AMT Enterprise kit. http://www.culttvman.com/jay_chladek...ise_histo.html
It includes some box art and close-ups of kit parts. If you include some of the kit tabs and slots, it would be cool if you use that totally unworkable stirrup and lock arrangement on the end of the nacelle support. My first Enterprise kit had that. It promptly fell apart.

you can eliminate the shadows in LW like this:
Make each light a spot light and target the spot to a object which is in the centre of your scene
In the light's properties panel make the
shadow map size from 1028-2048 and also make the shadow fuzziness from 8-16
try and see the difference..

Here's a render with LW 6 radiosity.
Sorry about it being so big.
