Serenity
Firefly Transport Vessel "Serenity"
By Sean P. Kennedy.
Just been playing with some plugins I have, and made this extremely short animation of the serenity
Serenity
Just playing arounf doe now, since the model looked very cool, and the detail was amazing, I decided to use it, im hooked on this idea of the warbird scene I made :
Warbird
Would like to setup some kind of scene with lasers etc, but I dont know how to do that, ive got laser presets, but im still baffled, ill get there one day.
I used the xvid codec to render my scenes.

the movement of the ship along the path you have them on .. I have the same problem .
the motion of the ship seem to move slow the speed up slow again .. hardly noticeable
but as I don it my self I seen it.. or my player is acting up .. xvid codec could be outdated ..
I only seen it in the Shuttle Vid .. the firefly was great
there is a control in lw for editing the motion path.. just in case you have not used it..
called : TCB. Stands for Tension, Continuity and bias. and they help you movement in animation ,,
you can find it in the tool section of the modify tab ..
Making your movement smoother .. its very hard to get right ....
I tried using it in a star trek animation to some effect .. your motions are more advance than the ones I did
Hope I did not offend

No offence taken, always take anything that anyone posts good points to use.
I have scenes i downloaded of lasers, they look good, but when i have a scene setup like the warbird one, its hard to add the laser scene to the warbird scene, as i think this is not possible, if it was, it would greatly improve anything i could do, and then id have lasers everywhere, and lots of battles. I understand I am not the best at doing this, but its a start of something I have played around with for a long time since I started watching all those vids on spacebattles.com

I have these lasers as a scene, and seperate I have the scenes from above, is there an easy way to put them both together? As I have no idea how to make them, as the tutorials I have seen are rather complex.

as an example in this scene I have the lasers shooting off :
Laser 1
How easy is it to incorporate the scene into another scene?

the builder is over at LWG3 and if you pm him . asking how to alter the properties . he'll help ..

well I hadnt posted there for awhile, and so they banned me for some weird reason, so no hope of anything there, but....... I just made this, i editted the properties, lol.
First was this, the basic laser test with shuttle :
Standard Laser 1
Then same shuttle, but experimenting with properties, changed camera angle to focus more on lasers, oh boy :
Standard Laser 2
Now all I need to add is a small explosion on the back end of the shuttle.

Ok .. I try and get some info for you and explain to the best of my ability's.. but you have to give me a bit of time .. I have so many little projects on .. and if you don't hear from me . give a reminder ..
The LASERS ..
You can attach them to your ship .. using the parent tool .. but arranging them take time .. the one that fires 2 emitters ..
Only one is controlling both so you need to change that one ....
when you see the emitters they moving back and forward .. contacting like pistons . you then see an event of enery
moving forward .. that making it work .. you can change the properties and speed .. they are hypervoxels ??
as far as I remember .. .
give me time i get the info ......

I downloaded the presets from there site, and one of them was explosions and dust, but I cant seem to add them to lightwave, is there an easy way to do this, also i noticed that when i add plugins, and close LW and open it again, I haqve to re-add the plugins everytime for LW to see them, I contacted LW themselves, they told me to just re-install the app, did that, still have the same issues. Any ideas please?
