USS Enterprise 1707-E Part II
That's right
Forget passing the mesh on for now - I have returned to modelling last week and am proud to bring you the first update of hopefully many to come - quickly
My schedule is a bit awkward for modelling right now as my PC is in my room in Enschede (where I study), but I am only in Enschede from monday to wednesdaynight/thursday, plus, studying takes a lot of time... So updates will probably be slow for some time - but hey, you guys are used to that from me right :farmer:
Well, here is the first update. Feel free to compare the pic to this reference pic (courtesy of The Model Citizen) and my previous modelling job and you will hopefully see that these subtle changes make it a lot more accurate!
Also, I am putting all my WIP pics on this page, it's not complete yet since I am still deciding on some things and fixing some problems (note: not all pics may work right now!) but that will be fixed pretty soon.
I have also updated the article although it's not a spectacular update.
Please don't mind the popups, and I recommend downloading popup killer
Well, I believe that's it for now. I'll probably work on her this week, so expect further updates by wednesday or perhaps next week.
Oh, and do let me know what you think of her!
PS: if anything doesn't work, please be patient. It will be fixed!

Update
Heya
Chris, thanks (2x ) Also for havin' faith eh
SeanP, it's going pretty well so far, thanks
Thor, Nova Class, Ebolii, thanks people... yes that was a typo :o And what an incredibly dumb one... Sorry
Zanith, ah good to see you again Have fun hiding
SeanR, I wouldn't dare disappearing on you
Superrobster: here ya go! (and thnx for the comments )
Small update, work is going slow for several reasons, the most important two being that my comp is running very slow to prevent hardware failure, and I don't have much reference of the nacelle details!
If anyone has such material and would care to show it to me I would greatly appreciate it! (I'm using the material of the Model Citizen, Pedro's Shiporama and Ex-Astris-Scientia... But there isn't much for those sections)
Anyway, here's the smallish update!

I'm getting sick to DEATH of those godamn popups on your site, man, please get a _real_ host. I clicked one of those articles and got SIX popups. Hypermart SUCKS. Your artowk is too good to be hosted on such a sucky server.
Ebolii, which link is not working? The ones I tried all worked.

I shouldn't have to pay to get software to get rid of something I never asked for in the first place.

Doesn't work very well from what I hear. I've already got a program called WebBlinds which has its own popup killer, but it doesn't do a very good job either.

My popup killer is absolutely free and works perfectly. Can't remember where I got it though, although I can ask the person who gave it to me
It's called "popup killer" as far as I know and it's a project that's been abandoned, the site read something like "you can download the code here" but also had a working version of the prog online.
I reckon one could find it quite quickly with google or something
However, if the popups bother people so much, I'll consider taking Chris' very kind offer - although he might want to reconsider (just under 90 pics!)
We'll see
So long!

Thomas, I could probably give you space on mine too. I've got nearly a GB of server space, so you could even upload your meshes there (*hint, hint*). It'd be webolutionary.com/whateveryouwant, I think. You'd get an email address that way too. I've just got to checkhow the FTP is set up for users like that, it's ben a while.

Actually the one in mozilla simply denies any unrequested windows, so anything popped up by javascript or java that isn't explicitly caused by the mouse clicking won't work. It's so good it stops the IM box appearing in 3DG.
