Ep 1-03 The Train Job
Mal and the crew take a job from Adelei Niska to steal some cargo from a train, but they have second thoughts after discovering that boxes of Alliance goods he and his crew have stolen are full of badly needed medical supplies headed for the mining town of Paradiso.

This is one of my favorite Firefly episodes. Not only does it have the usual blend of action and humor that the rest of the show had, but it goes further into showing how the crew of Serenity, while being thieves and occasionally killers, have honor. They give up a pretty big payday to do the right thing in this show.

That's the best part. I love when he brings the next guy up to the spot where Crow had been previously (the guy who, for some reason, is a lot more agreeable.  ) The Train Job is definitely one of their best episodes, though I love the whole series. |

Ditto. Arial is my second favorite, but man, its close! nothing like seeing your boss shredded through a jet intake to make you more agreeable. *sigh* what a damn good show!
