Windsailer Airships for a Fantasy World...Model Request
Hullo,
I've been a lurker here for a little while, and I've discovered that this is one of the best places to go for Sci-Fi stuff. Now this request isnt really Sci-Fi, its Fantasy. These images are of what i call Windsailers, they are for an RPG game that i am making, and i'm hoping someone here is kind enough to make a High-Res model of them.
If anyone has questions or gripes, reply to this, or catch me through email or MSN messenger at Furyofaseraph@hotmail.com or you can grab me on AOL isntant messenger with the screename Furyofaseraph.
Oh and of course 5-view schematics are available upon request.
With thanks,
Fury of a Seraph

Well, what I saw a moment ago looked very interesting - but the links seem to be bad now...

A Thousand thanks to Atolm of Taldren forums for the drawings
But, im still looking for someone who is bored enough to try and model these as they are still beyond my pathetic skill

Next Drawing up
This one is a carrier (fighter is soon to follow)
The fighters are kept on the inside of the ring and attached to the balconies on the rear.

Very Kewl designs!!
They remind me of the D&D comic book series, and novels: Spelljammers!

They fly through they air.

I see... that's a really neat idea. I'm going to do something stupid now and say I'll have a go at one of them. That is if you don't mind...

I like the first design the most. It has the most original look. The second one reminds me of a Kazon ship from Voyager, at least the front does.
Can we see some other angles of the fighters? Is it safe to assume that the front is pointing towards the viewer?

@Proximo: Id be honoured if you gave one a try.
@Skyhawk223: I can get a view more shots of the fighter for you, but it wont be right away. And yeah, thats the front - The Turqoise is the window through which you see.
The funny thing about the fighter, the large sails actually split open like a christmas card. It allows for more effecient storage and still maintains a high speed. Not only that but (for scaling) its like the Minbari Nial - the pilot lays down inside of it.
