You started and finished the scene or the model?

Damn... that was a show I used to watch and forgot all about!

Cool . I'll prep it tomorrow morning ...

I'm suffering over the last few days with a frozen shoulder ..

On the other hand.

I have been looking at 2 other subs from TV vault ..

Seaquest and Garry Anderson's Stingray ..

both look to be difficult .. any suggestions for approach

Approach with caution, and be sure to have a snorkel?

Seriously though... just gather up all the best ref material you can then find the easiest point on the ship to start with.

Some people start with engines, some with the body.

gawd I remember this sub now!!! - was there ever a more non-practical submarine ever devised? Those spheres would create massive drag through the water!

Well, there is the Flying Dutchman... (From Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and At World's End.) Though technically not a submarine, it did submerge and supposedly travel underwater (though you'd think those sails would really put a damper on that plan.)

Scarily enough it does make sense. While its hydrodynamics would suck, the spherical design would allow it to handle deeper depths. Any one remember the Bathyscaphe Trieste, dove to almost 36,000 feet in 1960?

Oh, and thank for the flashbacks. Thank Gawd Sci-Fi hasn’t dug up MfA for a mind numbing day long marathon.

Surely it's due for a film version?

Patrick Duffy wasn't it? Just barely recalling.

Yes it was Patrick Duffy or Bobby from Dallas for those who remember "Who Shot JR"

I think he is writing a novel on the character

Thought it was him. Don't remember the sub but like the picture anyway even without reference to the show. I've tried to create underwater before and never got close.
