Train Station WIP
A new render of an old model...this time with Global Illumination

Besides being too dark, with not enough contrast, does anyone have any suggestions?
Maybe some additional items to make the scene more realistic?

I would imagine that there would be at least a couple street lamps in there, but aside from that, I'll hold off comment until I can actually see more of the scene.
I think you've got a good start, though. And this is a setting we don't see much here, so I'm very interested to see your updates. |

Looking good so far!
Maybe you could add some bases to the 'scaffolding' on the floor.
And what Skyhawk said, maybe a few signs here and there. Oh and maybe some warning lines on the platform (Do not cross this line etc..) |

At the turn of the century they were more interested in creating giant ironwork structures than they were in passenger safety.... Look at Titanic.....

Whoa, Sean Kennedy. Just because the Titanic sunk does not mean it was unsafe. They might might have overestimated its safety, but unsafe it wasn't.
Otherwise, great train station.

This is from the industrial age when bigger was better and mankind challenged God and the elements to knock down what they had build. God and the elements usually won.
Some of the few things left from that age: the Eifel Tower, The Statue of Liberty, etc...
I really love things from the late Victorian / early Art Nuveau age...  |
