2 D DRAWING A church

http://www.geocities.com/stvoy_fan2/art1/

I'm playing around with PSP. The original I'm paiting from is a photo taken in the beginning of the 20th century in some Russian village.

Now, I seem to have stubled across a huge problem, I don't know whether i'm just so incompetent or I'm doing something wrong, or I got started off completely wrongly, but it seems that the more I work on it - the worse it gets. Any tips would be really welcome.

What's wrong with it? Aside from being so small, it looks really good.

I told you we need to get you a copy of Painter, but you said you didn't like the fact that it emulated natural types of drawing/painting...

I like it. It has a very calming effect. Is that a person sitting on top of it?

Uh... no actually. It's supposed to become one of those wind-direction-showing thingies..

Does it really look like a person? Oh man

I think it's fine just as it is.

I wouldn't mind seeing you tackle a bigger image, though. I think you'd do very well with a larger "canvas" to work with.

I see it now. I was looking at it the wrong way. At first glance it looked like a man sitting cross-legged with a shrunken head. Now I see what you intended.
