Blake's 7
I couldn't see this mentioned here, so I thought I'd add it. Blake's 7 is being remade.
I've been (re-)watching the original on DVD. I think their special effects were probably on par with most British SciFi of the 70s, which isn't saying much. But the Liberator was second only to the Eagle Transporter in aesthetic appeal, so I'm looking forward to see what they can make of it in the 21st century!
And perhaps Blake will stick around a little longer this time.

I enjoyed B7 when first shown on BBC.

Re: Blake's 7
I'd like to see a new Blake's 7 also but for those who want have a go themeselves there is a great source of Blake's 7 meshes at 3D warehouse that are pretty easy to convert. (Textures are a different thing entirely.)

Re: Blake's 7
I will have to check my computer at home but I have donloaded reimagined Liberator Lightwave model.
I would like to see a remade Blake's 7. I'd like to rewatch the original.
I'm running out of SciFi to watch.

Re: Blake's 7
I only hope they don't update the Liberator too much (although I do think there's room for a little improvement). Many "updates" to original series ships don't seem to improve them (IMHO). I think in particular of the Thunderbirds movie.
There seem to be 3 Liberator models under the downloads section here (although for some reason I can't download any of them). I might try a Sketchup model, I guess I need to download Sketchup to convert it…

On the update.. I agree.. My only addition was hull details... to help scale.. but other than that very little... If I was doing this model again I would approach that a little differently. But I think that is common among us all.
