USS Palomino (The Black Hole)
Its been a while since I posted a WIP here .. (Hangs Head in shame)
anyhoo here is my latest work .. The USS Palomino from the film .. this will all be built by me and later I hope to go for the USS Cygnus .. But Sean Kennedy other wise known a Treybor.. is doing a bang up job of it .. (Have to ask if he post it here) .....
But as Like doing the not normally done models I going to go and try the Concept
Cygnus

These are the Concept of the Cygnus .. less of a poly cruncher and user friendly for people with lower end PCs .. Like mine

I hear you on the lower end PCs. I'm a card-carrying member of that club. I'm still tempted to try the Cygnus, though.
You know I love the work you're doing on this one. Just can't say it enough, though.

thanks mate .. The Palomino was and is still fun to build ,, some of the parts where easy other namely the Engine Pods where a pain to get right .. to get the bevel in just the right place .. I am only 90% happy with them .. Lightwave native beveling tools for this were no good at all .. I had to fined a new way .. Jettobevel and Vertibevel where tried .. and I got the look I wanted ..
The Cygnus is a whole new challenge and Sean "Treybor" Kennedy work is simply great . but I have it in my mind to give it a go

These look great! Treybor's work is fantastic, but I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss your mesh work here either. I think you are doing a really good job on getting the accuracy.
Cheers! — Möe
