Earth Force Destroyer
Taking a break from the vienna at the moment, but still in the mood for sci fi so i've just started this ship (influenced by Babylon 5's Omega Class Destroyer).

It lacks detail at the moment, but this is the basic shape it will take, Ive put Cylinders in positions of possible gun mountings...

I see where you are going with this design now. It looks a bit disproportionate. I would either add more latticework to move the engine module farther back or make the engine module smaller.

I'd vote for more latticework, myself. Still, it's your design - I'm just waiting to see it take shape.

That's a very large opning in the nose. What's going in there?

Needs more guns...
Actually, I like the newer version better. It just seems a little more intimidating with the smaller opening.

I'm liking this, B5 in a way is what got me started - I bought LightWave because of the notion that some day I could make stuff like they did. They used it to make their show, and with time I want to do that too... I like the design, and can not wait to see the finished product.

Yes, I agree. It is coming along nicely. Is that a rotating hab section there?

Thanks
Unfortunately all my projects are frozen at the moment as im having severe problems with windows (after i tried installing XP the whole lot has stopped working).
All the contents of my windows folders are backed up on my linux partition, and i hope to have everything back up and running shortly (even if I have to use VMware).
