Default Star Trek:Rom Wars needs cgi help

Now that our Fan film Star Trek:The Romulan Wars is in production. We need some 3d help. Their are about 20 cgi shots we need and perhaps even redo what we have already done.

We are not able to offer monetary compensation for any work, but full credit would be given, and you'd get to help out on a generally fun project. You'd also receive our gratitude and friendship, the value of which is probably open to debate.

At this time we are finishing sets as the other side of the rooms are filming.
If you would like to know more or offer sevices. Please check us on here:

http://romulanwars.tekcities.com/

Or introduce yourself and leave us a message in this forum or our own forum at:

http://www.phpbber.com/phpbb/index.p...tartrekromwars

All and any help would be greatly appreciated.

What software are you guys using? And are you looking for shipbuilders and whatnot or just animators? (using existing ship meshes.) Because I might be interested in building some models (not promising anything yet) but I can't animate.

You know it might be nice if you actually credited people for the use of thier models

To which models are you referring? The only models I see on the site were apparently made by people involved in the project. If they didn't put credits on the images they made, that's their mistake.

Those are scene caps and images i made from the models. The models of the Yorktown and the romulan ships are what i refer too. Our dreadnaught and early BOP need some help but overall ready to be rendered

Yeah, that was basically my point. It's your work, no need to put credits on them if you don't want to. Though it's a wise precaution, given the web thievery out there. And the screenies are screenies, there are a number of sites where you can get those or you can make your own. Some have credits, some don't. *shrugs*

HAPPY Credits

I am using some other models by other artists and i fully intend on giving them credit where credit is due. I know all to well about the internet thieves too. I had made a mesh i named Aries for this project. It looked alot like the akira class once i was finished and i used shots from other modellers and ship pictures from the Enterprise series to make it. When i was through. I posted it. OMG,,,you would have thought i had stolen someone car! At first i was priviledge to find my ship looked as good as someone elses, then; it all changed and i was acused of stealing it. This model took me about 4 months to make and i was being acused of stealing it. I was pissed to say the least but, it made me understand that there are alot of artists out there and that they value there work. Anytime after that if i did a render,i put the artist names on the pictures or the credits. I have a couple on sci-fi meshes in which i have done and added credits from others. everyone needs there day in the sun
