Unity One: A New Hope
Here my first own-designed Star Trek-Space-Complex, the Unity One for the German Fanfiction-Writer Thorsten Pick, like always in Cinema 4D, Postwork with Photoshop, hope you like it!

Re: Unity One: A New Hope
Looks like it has Regula 1/Space Office Complex elements as well as some DS9 elements. Nice!

Re: Unity One: A New Hope
The station is cool and the composition is nice but, unless that's a binary star system and the other star is off to the left (from our perspective) the lighting looks wrong. There's too much light on the side of the models closest to the camera, based on the assumption that the sun in the image is the only light source.

Re: Unity One: A New Hope
Cool illumination and a famous scene design.
Hi evil_genius_180: I disagree with you. Please keep in mind that the lightsource is not directly behind the planet. With a greater distance between lightsource and planet the light appears more right as it is. So I think that the illumination is correct for a single system...
Hope Animaniac you can give us the answer...

Re: Unity One: A New Hope
Yes, the visible Star is not the Light-Source, i have used it only as a Effect.

Re: Unity One: A New Hope
Very cool
Looks like it fits right in with Star Trek, and by far the best station I have seen in a long time.

That makes a lot more sense in terms of scale.
