Jesus christ! What's the point of the buggery special editions if they're just going to turn around and make ultimate editions as well? It's getting ridiculous. Normal editions, directors cuts, special editions, now bloody ultimate editions.

Since I don't have any of the other copies, hold your kicks.

heh, I'll have to pick this up too. My parents got it when it came out on VHS so naturally I've got to have the DVD. :p It better only be in widescreen because I refuse to buy a DVD in any other display format. Fullscreen is for sissies.

I don't think the 2 versions on it are any different from the 2 versions on that special edition I got. So I wonder why they even mak ea new one

I think it's too much wide screen. Every other movie I got is normal, but Stargate is, instead of 16:9, maybe 20:5 or something It's like widescreen inside another widescreen... But the extra scenes are cool So if you didn't buy it already buy that new one !!

(I like full screen hehe)

While the whole 20 different releases pisses me off, I have an inside track on trading in my previous copy and getting a brand new one, any time, for just the price difference of the old one.

If they are the same price, even better
